Suicide Prevention: Breaking the Cycle, Finding Hope
At Crossing Arrows Ranch, we know that suicide doesn’t just impact one person—it creates a ripple effect that can be felt for generations. The pain of losing a loved one to suicide is immeasurable, and the weight of struggling with suicidal thoughts can feel unbearable. That’s why our work is deeply personal. We have lived through these struggles, and we are committed to helping others find a way forward.
Spencer’s Story
Spencer knows what it’s like to feel lost.
As a teenager and young adult, he battled suicidal thoughts—struggling to imagine a future where life could feel any different. The weight of his circumstances felt unbearable at times. But with support, resilience, and a growing passion for helping others, he made it through.
His survival became his mission: to walk alongside others in the darkness and remind them they’re not alone.
From Personal Struggle to Purpose
Years later, Spencer faced another kind of heartbreak—one that cut even deeper.
He lost a teenager who was like a son to him to suicide. It shattered him. The pain, the grief, the questions that never stop coming—they were all too familiar.
But instead of letting that loss destroy him, he chose to turn it into something meaningful.
Crossing Arrows Ranch was born out of that heartbreak—a place where others could find safety, connection, and healing. A place where people struggling with suicidal thoughts or the pain of loss could come and know they are not alone.
A Deeper Grief in 2025
Then in 2025, Spencer experienced another devastating loss—his own father died by suicide.
It was sudden, heartbreaking, and deeply personal. The grief of losing a parent in such a tragic way reopened every wound, but this time with an even deeper weight.
Still, Spencer chose healing.
He chose to keep showing up—for others and for himself.
Crossing Arrows Ranch stands as a testament to survival, grief, love, and purpose.
This work is not just professional—it’s sacred. It’s personal. It’s a promise that no one has to walk through the pain alone.
You are not a burden. Your story isn’t over. And there is still hope—even after unimaginable loss.
Trudi’s Story
The Chain Reaction of Suicide
Trudi has also felt the devastating impact of suicide, having lost both a sister and a grandfather to it. She has witnessed the ripple effect that follows—the way suicide leaves behind more than just grief. It creates a chain reaction through families, generations, and communities.
Suicide doesn’t just take one life—it leaves behind countless questions, shattered relationships, and pain that echoes for years.
But Trudi believes that cycle can be broken.
As a trauma therapist, Trudi has walked with many through grief, PTSD, and emotional healing. But this work isn’t just professional for her—it’s personal. She knows what it’s like to wake up in the aftermath of a suicide loss and wonder how to keep going.
And when Spencer lost his father to suicide in 2025, Trudi stood beside him—not just as a partner, but as someone who truly understood the depth of his pain. Together, they grieved. Together, they chose to build something that could offer healing to others standing in that same darkness.
Crossing Arrows Ranch is the result of their shared losses, their shared passion, and their unwavering belief that even after the worst moments of your life—
healing is still possible.
You are not alone. And your story doesn’t end here.
